The BBSHD is the heavy-duty member of Bafang’s bolt-on BBS family, listed by Bafang as the M615 (MM G320.750/1000.C). It slides through a standard threaded bottom bracket and drives the chain directly, so the bike keeps its own gears and the motor works at an efficient cadence.
This kit is aimed at cargo, speed and off-road builds that need more torque than the BBS02. A 1000W rating exceeds the EU 250W pedelec limit, so it is intended for markets and uses where that power level is permitted.
We supply the kit in a UART or a CAN version: the controller is flashed with the matching firmware for each order, and a throttle can be added as an option.
