Unlike the all-plastic Polly shells, the Dorado uses an extruded aluminium body with plastic top and bottom caps and gaskets. The long ID-MAX version takes up to 80 × 18650 cells.
It ships as a kit of parts: case, end caps, gaskets, 10 cell spacers, a 2-pin output connector, a DC2.1 charge socket, a USB port cover and a charge-indicator cover, plus screws. The cell holders, BMS, USB board and indicator board are not included.
